Lip color options are varied and come in a  wide variety of shades and formulas. Whichever you choose, a lip pencil is a must. It allows for precision application and prevents feathering. If you want fuller lips, you can draw a line just outside of your natural lip line. If you want your lips to appear smaller, draw a line inside your natural lip line. Then apply lipstick within the "lines" straight from the tube or with a lip brush. A brush leaves more color on the lips.

Prefer gloss? Lip gloss may be worn alone or over lipstick. The trick with gloss it to apply just inside the outer lip line. Glossing right up to the edges of the lips doesn't add shine and tends to increase feathering.
